Housed inside stucco walls accented with original, large-format oil paintings produced by Juan Casas, welcome to the intimate bar and eatery of Del Rey at Villa Royale. The ambiance includes a 12-seat oak and marble bar, tufted green vinyl booths, and an outdoor patio equipped with a fire pit.
Inspired by Spanish and Mediterranean flavors, Del Rey’s playful menu is served in a small plate format akin to taperías that flourish near the Mediterranean Sea.
Conservas: This is Spanish-style tinned fish served with grilled sourdough, parsley, olive oil, butter, red onion, ribbons, capers, lemon, pepinillos, and Maldon sea salt. Selections include spicy tuna pate, cod, rainbow trout jerky gems, wild Spanish pulp, and mackerel.
Tapas: These are Spanish sharable dishes you order a few for the table. Selections include grilled oyster mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, grilled California artichokes, Spanish mussels, and a hummus plate. Other vegetable tapas include charred broccolini and roasted carrots with harissa spice and walnuts.
Platos Fuertes: Main dishes include roast chicken, steak, and salmon with fried eggplant.
