To bring this dream vacation to resort reality, they considered every facet of the guest experience.

“Blackhaus was conceptualized as a hotel-style hotel built specifically for the new way people are traveling together via short term rentals. It offers the flexibility and ability to rent the perfect space for any size of group, with self check-in. A key part of the Blackhaus Palm Springs experience is our shared spaces filled with games, activities, and opportunities for groups to connect over food and entertainment, so we made sure to include a pool, fireplaces, and outdoor cooking, as well as multiple shared bocce ball courts around the property.”

AvantStay collaborated with Chris Pardo from Elemental Architecture to create Blackhaus. He was the architect and project manager. Chris Pardo is an accomplished designer and architect who has worked on several properties in Palm Springs.

The Blackhaus Hotel is a luxurious and modern accommodation option for travelers seeking a unique and upscale experience. The architectural style is sleek and contemporary, with a striking black color scheme that sets it apart from other properties. The hotel’s rooms and suites are spacious, and elegantly furnished.

Buyout Option

“You get the best of both worlds with a buyout,” Fortson explains. “It’s perfect for those who want something in between the individualized rooms of a hotel and the privacy of a vacation rental. It’s quite the unique feeling having a hotel all to yourself. You and your group can spread out and enjoy the pool and all of the amenities without any other guests in your space.

With the buyout option at Blackhaus Palm Springs, guests will have access to all four buildings located next to each other for a total of 16 bedrooms. Each bedroom features a king bed and each building offers one queen-sized sleeper sofa in the kitchen/living area for additional sleeping options. While Blackhaus is typically an adults-only hotel, the buyout option means you can also bring the kids for a family-friendly trip!”

Other Room Configurations

In addition to the buyout option at Blackhaus, guests also can opt to book a single studio room or a suite of two or four rooms. These suite options offer a shared lounge area that’s connected to two bedrooms (and connected to an outdoor patio), so smaller groups traveling together have a shared space to spend time together but still have the privacy of their own bedrooms.

There is also an option to buyout two buildings located next to each other for a total of 8 bedrooms, each bedroom featuring a king bed.

The Blackhaus property style is very popular with guests looking to book family reunions, bachelor(ette) getaways, wellness retreats, corporate off-sites, weddings, and other group-oriented stays.
