If you’re looking for a fun and exciting way to celebrate this day, then Palm Springs should definitely be on your list. If you want to spend the day outdoors, there are many activities to choose from. You can visit one of the many parks where you can picnic and play games with your family and friends. You can also take a hike or jump on a bike and explore the city. Palm Springs July 4th weekend fun starts early with a free concert in the park. Saturday, July 1 7 pm – Concert In The Park. Kick off the holiday weekend with a free concert in the Downtown Park featuring The Long Run, a tribute band to the Eagles. Marked by lush vocal harmonies and exceptional musical accuracy, every performance delivers a reverence to the beloved Eagles. Museum Way and Belardo Road. Sunday, July 2 7 pm – Dive-In Movie Night. Cool off from the desert heat with a dip in the pool while also taking in the colorful 2021 movie musical “In the Heights.” Palm Springs Swim Center, 405 S. Pavilion Way. Monday, July 3 8 am – The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will operate with extended holiday hours. First tramcar up at 8 am and last up at 8 pm. The last tramcar down will be at 9:30 pm. 6 pm – Movie Night at Ruth Hardy Park. When the sun sets, celebrate America’s favorite pastime with the 1992 classic movie “A League of their Own” about a professional all-female baseball league. Food vendors and park games will begin at Ruth Hardy Park at 6:00 pm. The movie begins at 7:30 pm. – 700 Tamarisk Road Tuesday, July 4 8 am – The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will operate with extended holiday hours. First tramcar up at 8 am and last up at 8 pm. The last tramcar down will be at 9:30 pm 3 pm – Pool Party. Start off the holiday with a pool party at Palm Springs Swim Center with water games, inflatable slides, music and food. The party lasts until after the fireworks. 405 S. Pavilion Way. 6 pm – Head over to the Palm Springs Stadium to watch Power Baseball All Stars Summer Collegiate baseball. 6:30 pm – Keisha D and the Hearts and Soul Band perform at V Wine Lounge. 7:30 pm – Rock out to the free Led Zeppelin Tribute band in Sunrise Park. 480 Sunrise Way. 600 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way. 9:15 pm – Palm Springs July 4th Fireworks. Finish the night with the fireworks spectacular an the Palm Springs Stadium.
