New Direct Flights to Palm Springs

Spread Your Wings and say Hello, Palm Springs

Curiosity is a gift. It fuels our appetite for exploration, it inspires us to excavate the wonders of the world, and it prompts us to ask the ultimate question: what’s next?

Travel enthusiasts have had a rough year, but the horizon looks especially promising here in Palm Springs. Our already spacious airport is rising to new heights, making it the fastest growing hub in the United States. Voted one of the most stress free airports in America, the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is also carefree and fancy-free. You can fly in style without breaking your budget, which means you’ll be able to spend your hard-earned travel dollars where they belong: at the resorts, restaurants, and retail splendor of our inviting hometown.

Eight 4 Nine

Palm Springs International is adding an exciting itinerary of new direct flights to its schedule. While the average American airport is reducing its capacity at a rate of 16.3% compared to a year ago, PSP is expanding its services by a factor of 27.8%.

The secret is out: Palm Springs is in!

A Warm Welcome

Vacation is synonymous with fun in the sun, and we’ve got brilliance to spare. Our desert heat beckons visitors from cold climates in droves, encouraging them to slough off their parkas in favor of parasols.

The new direct flights to Palm Springs includes a bevy of new direct routes, so our neighbors to the north can get here even more conveniently than they have in winters gone by. Canadian travelers will soon be able to fly directly from Calgary to Palm Springs, where they can rendezvous with their Rocky Mountain cousins from Denver and Boise, two new cities on the growing PSP map. Our West Coast wanderers won’t feel left out, because direct flights are now available to and from San Jose, Oakland, and Eugene, Oregon. We’re also reciprocating the city of brotherly love’s affection by connecting Philadelphia and PSP in a non-stop fashion.

So, ditch those snowshoes and strap on some sandals, because there’s relaxation afoot in Palm Springs.

Here Comes the Sun Belt

Residents of warmer climates already appreciate the amenities of sultry living. Phoenix, for example, enjoys a similar climate to that of Palm Springs, which is why we welcome so many regular guests from the Valley of the Sun (as it is known).

Palm Springs shares an even cozier proximity to Los Angeles. After all, we earned our reputation as Hollywood’s Playground. Well now, our bond is becoming more brilliant as PSP introduces two direct flights from LA to Palm Springs. Skip the traffic and sip the good life with flights that start at just over $100 and last a mere 45 minutes.

Palm Springs is one of the world’s premier LGBTQ travel destinations. Our community is about to get even more connected, courtesy of direct flights to and from another gay Mecca: Ft. Lauderdale. We’ll see you on Arenas Road!

Building on a Lofty Legacy

The new additions of direct flights to the Palm Springs roster of services are impressive, even from a 20,000-foot vantage point. But when you look even closer, you’ll realize that Palm Springs has always been a majestic magnet that attracts discerning tastemakers from all over the globe.

With nonstop flights from Toronto, Seattle, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, Atlanta, San Francisco, Boston, Houston and Vancouver, we combine metropolitan flair with down home care. Palm Springs International caters to a dozen major airlines, so the sky is truly the limit as we continue to grow.

Access Approved

As they say, getting there is half the fun… but what about the other half? When you land at PSP, your adventure is just beginning.

Downtown Palm Springs is easily accessible by shuttle, rental car, or limo service – so wherever you fall on the spectrum of fancy to frugal, we’ve got you covered. Once you have checked in at your resort or vacation home, dive into your pool and wash away the miles you just traversed to arrive in paradise.

If you didn’t get a proper view of the San Jacinto Mountains on your descent into PSP airport, take off anew at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. This grand gondola experience traverses the steepest slope in the continental United States, ascending from 800 feet above sea level to a staggering 10,834-foot elevation.

From the summit of San Jacinto to the convenience of Palm Springs International Airport, you’ll have your head in the clouds and your feet firmly planted in paradise. All aboard for the time of your life, courtesy of PSP.
