Some Palm Springs Upgrades
The Saguaro Palm Springs recently completed a new lobby design in 2018 and refreshed pool-facing rooms. They have now updated the room with mid-century modern style, including bathrooms with a much sleeker style. While the exterior remains bold, the interiors are toned down a bit. Further additions include a newly redesigned bridal suite, the patio at El Jefe restaurant and three cabanas for rent at the pool.
Within the walls of Parker Palm Springs, you’ll find a high-quality boutique restaurant experience at Mister Parker. They have a new menu offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $79. Executive Chef Herve Glin created dishes that are lighter, more flavorful and include the freshest ingredients. Selections include a variety of meat and seafood including a beef trio or Maine lobster served with nori angel hair. For desert try the expresso crème brulee or the Asian pear tart tatin. The wine list is heave on Boudreaux offerings.
Welcome new executive chef Yasaac Ramirez to the desert. He is taking over the kitchen of King’s Highway and the Amigo Room. He has infused more Latin and Southern flavors into the menu, like the addition of a chicken fried steak sandwich on the brunch menu. For dinner, try the red trout, BBA shrimp and grits, or the flat iron steak.
The restaurant on the 7th floor of the Rowan, with sweeping views of the valley and next to the rooftop pool, opened with a largely Mediterranean menu. They have now moved to a more Americana fare and launched a new brunch menu. Pair it with a classic mimosa kit with a flight of juices. Juniper Table, located on the ground floor across for the Starbucks Reserve, also expanded their menu to include a larger selection of vegan options, including Impossible burger patty melt and pastrami and mushroom version of Philly cheesesteak.
