Find Vintage Treasures

flippery

With such a rich history, it’s no surprise Palm Springs is a vintage shoppers paradise. From furniture, to clothing, estate jewelry, and more — if you’re looking for something with a bit of a pedigree, there are plenty of places to shop where you can find unique treasures.

Palm Springs Vintage Market

One of the best places to begin a vintage shopping excursion is by visiting the Palm Springs Vintage Market.
Set up outdoors in the parking lot of the Camelot Theatres, the market is held the first Sunday of each month. Dozens of merchants lay out vintage dishware, collectibles, kitchenware, clothes and pre-loved furniture as curious shoppers weave their way along the aisles.Admission is $5 and it’s worth noting the market is seasonal, wrapping up in May and resuming in the fall.

North Palm Canyon Drive

One place you can head to where there’s a full array of stores is N. Palm Canyon Drive. Known as the Uptown Design District, there are dozens of clothing, vintage, furniture, and jewelry shops clustered in this area. While pretty much all of them have some amazing treasures, here are just a few great and popular suggestions.

The Frippery
From dresses with crazy loud prints to outfits with original 70’s and 80’s pedigrees, you can find a host of vintage duds at the Frippery. The Frippery specializes in “desert lifestyle” wear and accessories including “mod, resort, bohemian and a little rock n roll”.

You can find fashion that dates back to the 50’s like gowns and dresses for the ladies, as well as sport coats and shirts for the gents. Deja Vu also sources high end designer clothing from the likes of Dior, Valentino, Givenchy, Vuitton, and Chanel.
