Mt. San Jacinto and the San Andreas Fault

About 30 million years ago something happened that changed everything, quite literally for all of us! Join Joe Migliore for one hour illustrated presentation describing the geologic events which created Mt. San jacinto and changed the entire western edge of the North American Continent. Following the presentation we will embark on walking tour from Grub’s view to the Desert view trail to observe telltale geologic features revealing the geologic history of the San Andreas Fault and it’s role in the creation of the surrounding landscape and Mt. San Jacinto.
