The Art of Sleeping On Dirt
Curious about backpacking and not sure where to start? Want to learn some pro-tips on how to reduce pack weight? Learn from the park’s bonafide camping-connoisseur about logistics planning, how to efficiently pack a pack, dealing with fear in the dark, and how to make sleeping in the backcountry an art. Attending this event is free, but it is highly encouraged to sign up on Event Brite. This seminar is a prerequisite to attending overnight event to Round Valley on August 5.
