The Art of Sleeping on Dirt, Round Valley Backpacking Trip Learn the basics and more from personnel who sleep on soil for a living. Learn to not just survive, but to thrive in the backcountry on this guided trip. Perfect for those just starting out and those who want to elevate their recreation into an art form. Those who attend will be much more prepared to lead others on their first trip and possess the skills and knowledge to seek their own solitude on their own trip. Participants will be trekking from Long Valley and camping out in Round Valley (2.1 miles, 700 ft elevation change one way) with an optional day hike out to Wellman Divide (2 miles, 500ft elevation change round-trip from Round Valley).
