Pride on the Page Book Festival 2023

Back for our second year, this year we will offer the following panel discussions:

The Stories We Tell: Exploring Exciting New Works of Fiction – Foraging through outstanding new fiction in its many forms and subgenres.

Young at Heart from the Start: On Writing the LGBTQ+ Young Adult Novel – Young Adult authors discuss their books and the challenges and joys of writing YA novels.

In/Visible: Queer Histories Real and Imagined – A serious and humorous exploration into LGBTQ+ history.

Remember Me: Writing About Our Queer Lives – A close look at fascinating lives under the microscope in magnificent new memoirs.

Queer Love, Lust, Eros and Everything in Between – A Lively conversation about sex, romance, and erotica from LGBTQ+ writers.

It’s A Drag. Or Is it? – Across the Gender Spectrum in Art and Life – An exploration of gender identity/ies, binary busting and drag on and off the page.

Rising: On Thriving and Surviving Through The Art of Writing – Writers discuss their current works and how writing serves them as a healing/nurturing art.

Christian Cooper in conversation with Lorenzo Taylor – Central park birdwatcher, comics writer, television host, science editor and proud Blerd (Black nerd) discusses his book “Better Living Through Birding: Notes from a Black Man in the Natural World.”

A.M. Homes in conversation with Jim Holmes – Winner of the prestigious Orange/Women’s Prize for Fiction discusses her new novel “The Unfolding.”
