Peso Pluma extends the Doble P Tour to include Acrisure Arena on July 8, 2023, with special guest Alemán.
Peso Pluma, who was recently named one of Billboard’s Latin Artists on the Rise, has had nine songs on the magazine’s Hot Latin Songs chart including three Top 10s. He has collaborated with contemporaries such as Natanael Cano, Gabito Ballesteros, and Luis R. Conriquez, as well as expanding his scope by linking up with urbano figures such as Ovy On The Drums and Nicki Nicole. The singer has more than 19 million monthly listeners on Spotify as well as more than 193 million views on YouTube and aims to take corridos—a century-old Mexican song tradition that recently has received renewed interest by fusing itself with trap, hip-hop, and urbano—further than they have gone before.
“It has always been a dream of mine — and the whole Peso Pluma family — to go on tour in the U.S. and I definitely didn’t expect it to happen so soon,” the Guadalajara native told Rolling Stone in a recent interview. “But I am looking forward to connecting with my fans in every city and getting to experience every moment of this with them.”
Peso Pluma has had quite an unexpected year. His previous collaborations with Natanael Cano are going viral on TikTok — “PRC” has been used on over 210,000 videos, while “AMG” with Gabito Ballesteros has been used over 263,300 times. Chart-wise, his newest collaboration, “Ella Baila Sola” with Eslabon Armado, has given both artists their highest charting track entries on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs (at No. 2) and Billboard Hot 100 (at No. 26) charts.
