Join local artist Kylie Knight in creating a zine (pronounced zeen), short for fanzine or magazine. Zines are DIY self-published booklets, often created by physically cutting and gluing text, icons, and images together, and are usually made on paper and reproduced with a photocopier or printer.
They were developed to spread bold, strong, and creative ideas, and are a great way to publish your own art, poems, writing, and music—all while exploring your self-expression.
Whether you’re just starting out or are a seasoned creator, zines are a great way to share your vision and originality! Join us as Kylie instructs on how to use collages and other art materials to create your own DIY self-publication.
