Diversity and Racial Equity Conference: Racial Healing and Resilience

Palm Springs Unified is hosting our second annual Diversity and Racial Equity Conference. Registration is FREE, and it includes breakfast and lunch! 😊

The theme of this year’s conference is Racial Healing and Resilience. We’ll open the conference with a light breakfast, a student panel about kids’ experiences within PSUSD, and hear from our amazing keynote speaker, Diana Ceja from Riverside County of Education. We will then meet with our breakout rooms that will be facilitated by our Conscious Education team members and Equity Leads (we will have the opportunity to attend two breakout sessions, one before lunch and one after lunch). We will be diving into deep conversations about our own experiences with race, how we can heal from lived experiences, and how we can all be allies moving forward. There will also be a plated lunch with entertainment between breakout room sessions!
