The high-kicking San Francisco treasure Matthew Martin returns to Oscars with a new one-(wo)man show. Showcasing the grand dames and leading ladies of old Hollywood in an evening of music, stories, humor and camp while paying homage to the classics of a bygone era. From Bette Davis and Judy Garland to Katharine Hepburn and Peggy Lee, Matthew keeps the silver screen legends alive by embodying their essences on stage.
Perhaps most celebrated for his standout performances as Bette Davis in the films “Hush Up, Sweet Charlotte” and “Baby Jane?”, Matthew just wrapped another star turn as Blanche in “The Golden Girls Live”. Other iconic roles include Mrs. Roper in “Three’s Company Live”, Joan Crawford in “TROG Live” and the villainess in feature film “Sh!t and Champagne” available on Hulu and Disney+.
Joined by local sexy crooner Drew Sebastian and Tom Shaw on piano, this intimate evening promises laughs, glamour and charm as only the incomparable Matthew Martin can deliver.
