This tour is a comprehensive look at Palm Springs and how it became the capital of mid century modern architecture. Included is a brief history of the city and how the stage was set for it to become the sandbox of Hollywood.
You’ll learn the four signature elements of the architectural style, you’ll meet the six architects who created the Desert Modern aesthetic and you’ll also discover Kurt’s favorite eight buildings in Palm Springs.
After the tour, there will be time for questions and answers. The tour lasts 45 minutes (30 minutes tour/15 minutes Q&A) and costs $9 per person.
