Built on the foundation of a 1965 Howard Johnson hotel, Ace Hotel & Swim Club maintains functionality and simplicity without sacrificing the Ace aesthetic. King’s Highway restaurant redefines roadside diner fare as part of an American peasant food tradition. Some have private patios and fireplaces or gardens. Much of the furniture is vintage. Draped fabric on the walls creates an indoor-outdoor, luxury camping feeling. There are simple rooms for smaller budgets, and larger suites that are more luxurious. We have been called a boutique hotel. We’re not sure what that is. We just love doing things our own way, and creating a neat experience based on a sense of place
The Swim Club includes a pool, a hot tub, a spa, a gym, massage yurts, plenty of hammocks and a stargazing deck. You can lounge by the pool with a booze sno cone from the Short Bus bar, or in one of the many comfortable hammocks that line the pool area. At the Spa, you can get an outdoor hot stone massage or a natural botanical facial.
