We want to invite you to join us at historic Palm Springs Stadium this winter and summer for competitive baseball in the form of our professional California Winter League and collegiate summer franchise, the Palm Springs POWER!
The California Winter League is a professional baseball showcase league where professional free agents come from around the globe to play in front of Major League scouts and professional coaches and instructors in hopes of being signed to a contract. Around 50% of players who participate in the the California Winter League are offered a professional contract upon completion of the season. The CWL is the premier winter baseball league, having more players invited and signed to professional spring training contracts than any other western United States based team. In 2017 the CWL will have 14teams consisting of 300 players, the highest turnout for the league ever. We offer professional, highly competitive baseball for the whole family, with entertainment for families and kids of all ages.
The main goals of the POWER organization are to offer inexpensive family entertainment to residents and visitors of the Coachella Valley while providing a place for elite college athletes to display their skills for fans and professional scouts on a nightly basis. The POWER is a summer collegiate team that is made up of college players from around the country, including, but not limited to USC, Washington, Oregon State, Iowa, Michigan and many more! Palm Springs Stadium has the largest misting system in the Coachella Valley, so if you are looking for a place to cool down in the summer while watching quality baseball, then Palm Springs POWER is for you. The POWER's 2016 season takes place from June 3rd - July 24th and we look forward to seeing you out at the park!
