Desert Ice Castle is an ice skating that was opened in 2011, in Cathedral City, CA. The Desert Ice Castle features an indoor NHL regulation-sized rink with seating for 150 people. It is opened year round and is the only rink within an 80 minute drive of the desert.
When the temperatures hit triple digits, come cool off with skating for entire family! Ice skating sessions for the public are one of the main attractions at Desert Ice Castle. Sessions are available 7 days a week.
Desert Ice Castle offers both Adult and Youth Ice Hockey programs and leagues. Whether you are a beginning skater looking to play on a team in an instructional league or an experienced ice hockey player looking to get out and play with others of a similar caliber, Desert Ice Castle is the place to play.
Can’t commit for the season? Why not just come and drop in for a game or two.
If you have never skated or can’t seem to find your balance, try learning the basics through our Skating School program. The program, led by highly qualified instructors, is open to skaters of all ages. It’s a great starting point to learn how to skate. We offer 8 or 9 weeks of beginner classes every two months for children ages 3 and up and any adults willing to learn!
If you’d like some one-on-one lessons, you may book private lessons for figure skating or hockey. Just give our coaches a call to schedule your private lesson! www.deserticecastle.com/coach.html
Birthday Party or Private Event
The rink and other facilities are available to you for birthday parties, holiday parties or corporate events. You may book an Ice Skating party, Broomball Party, Hockey Party or anything else “ice related”! Give us a call if you'd like to schedule your event now at (760) 324-0400.
Desert Ice Castle is the perfect place to enjoy the tradition of ice skating with family & friends in the winter and be the “coolest fun in the desert” during the summer.
