'All American Fourth of July', Pool Party and Palm Springs Power baseball game on July 4th.
Keep cool in the pool at Palm Springs Swim Center, located at 405 S. Pavilion Way. The pool party, beginning at 2 p.m., will feature music, games and a large inflatable slide. The pool party continues through the fireworks show is over. It costs $2 for children and $6 for adults. Parking for the pool party will be located in the parking lot off Ramon Road.
If you don't feel like swimming, you can head over to Sunrise Park for a picnic before going to Palm Springs Stadium, at 1901 E. Baristo Road, to watch the Palm Springs Power take on Southern Nevada at 6:05 p.m.
The All American Fourth of July fireworks show will follow the baseball game at 9:15 p.m. Free admission for the fireworks show begins at 8 p.m. City officials said everyone is invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on the baseball field.
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will open early on July 4. The first tram car up that day will be 8 a.m., the last tram car up will be 8 p.m. and the last tram car down will be 9:45 p.m.

City officials also said the AIDS Assistance Program is hosting a fundraising event at the Historic O'Donnell house in Palm Springs where attendees will celebrate the holiday by watching the City of Palm Springs fireworks and enjoy delicious hor d'oeuvres.
