Talk about your only-in-Palm Springs shopping opportunities!  Now we all can be hotel owners – with a buy into the sizzling Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs. From now until the offering is sold out, this is the only Hard Rock property in the world where individual investors have the opportunity to own a piece of the Hard Rock.

How does it work?  Register to view the property offering through Beverly Hills-based Realty Mogul, an online marketplace for people to pool money and invest in commercial real estate. This is the first ever crowdfunded hotel deal in the U.S., according to Realty Mogul.

How much does it cost? At least $10,000 – but no more than $3 million.

What do you get? In addition to the potential financial benefits of being an equity owner in the 163-room Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs – one of the desert’s coolest entertainment destinations (during Coachella, the Hard Rock hosted the LED Day Club electronic music pool parties, in partnership with Goldenvoice, the promoter of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival) -- VIP perks include free use of the hotel owner poolside cabana, 25 percent discounts off the best available room rates, free room upgrades and more, said Andy Carpiac of Kittridge Hotels & Resorts, LLC, the principal owner of the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs.

The thrills promise to get even hipper, since the influx of new money – at least $1.5 million – is expected to go toward bringing in new acts, enhancing the Rock Spa and perhaps adding a nightclub.

“The individuals who participate will be able to experience firsthand what’s special about this hotel, and enjoy the potential financial benefits and other benefits of being a hotel owner,” enthused Carpiac.
