Sizzling Pool Parties Heat Up Palm Springs All Summer Long

The weather isn’t the only thing heating up this summer in Palm Springs. All around town, poolsides are sizzling with DJs, music and cocktails all summer long. Cool off this summer with these hot Palm Springs pool parties.

Splash House, August 8-10

The Skinny:

Goldenvoice is set to ignite the Palm Springs pool party scene for a second time this summer with the return of Splash House, an annual music festival brought to the hottest pools in Palm Springs by the same team that produces the Coachella Music and Arts Festival. Launched in 2013, Splash House turns the pools of The Saguaro Hotel, Hard Rock Palm Springs and Hacienda Cantina and Beach Club into outdoor dance clubs featuring electronica DJs. Past lineups have included the likes of Moby, and this summer’s second Splash House will feature headliners like Chromeo, A-Trak, Jagwar Ma, Flume and Cut Copy. Tickets for Splash House are $99 without a hotel package.

Full Moon Party, August 10

The Skinny:

The pool might be cooling off at The Ace Hotel after the sun goes down, but the party scene is just heating up on August 10, when the hotel’s ongoing Full Moon Party overtakes the pool area for an evening of drum circles, dancers and card readers. Desert Rhythms Drum Circle sets the mood, inviting partygoers to grab a drum and become part of this collaborative experience. Under the light of the full moon, become one with the rhythm of the drums, have your cards read or go for a dip in the pool. Mini spa treatments are also available for just $12.

Saturdays at the Chiki Bar w/DJ Shasta

Cool off in island style on Saturdays at The Riviera Palm Springs’ Chiki Bar and Pool. Tucked away from the resort’s main pool, this tiki-themed hideaway makes it easy to forget you’re in the heart of the desert, thanks to its lush landscaping, island vibes and reggae tunes. On Saturday afternoons, DJ Shasta takes over the pool area with indie dance mixes that make it all too easy to spend the day by the pool.
