Boutique hotels, restaurants and attractions in Palm Springs are opening their doors to their public for tours as part of the 17th annual Walking Tour of the Inns on Thursday, December 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The multi-block, self-guided holiday event will take place in the Palm Springs Historic Tennis Club District, a charming neighborhood nestled between downtown and the base of the San Jacinto Mountains.
Maps for the self-guided tour will be distributed at the Palm Springs Art Museum box office and participating properties. Participants may begin “Walkin Tour of the Inns" at any of the participating locations, but are recommended to begin the tour at the Del Marcos Hotel or Palm Springs Art Museum.
Palm Springs has an eclectic group of boutique properties, most of architectural significance from the early adobes of the 1920’s to mid-century modern architecture for which Palm Springs is world-renowned.

Participants can attend this holiday event at no cost, however, are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys to benefit Well in the Desert holiday toy drives. The Palm Springs Art Museum and all participating properties will each have a toy donation drop-off box.
