The Palm Springs weather forecast is calling for clear and sunny skies on Easter. Create new memories with family during a weekend of springtime holiday festivities. Enjoy Easter egg hunts for kids 2 to 102 and an awe-inspiring sunrise service atop The Tramway. However you choose to celebrate Easter in Palm Springs, it’s spending time together that counts.

Saturday, April 19th, from 9:00am to 10:00am / Cost: Free

Bring kids ages 2-9 with their Easter baskets to an Easter egg hunt that’s been a Palm Springs tradition for more than 40 years. Thousands of strategically-placed colored eggs will be hidden in the park by the kids at heart of the Palm Springs Firemen’s Association. Plus, the Easter bunny will make a special visit. Saturday, April 19th, and Sunday, April 20th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm

Cost: FREE with paid admission to the park; $17.25 adults, $15.75 seniors + military, $8.75 children 3-12, free for kids under 3.

Hop on over to The Living Desert for a jumping two-day Easter “Eggstravaganza.” Join in on several age-appropriate egg hunts throughout the day with 10,000 eggs, a participant Easter parade, memorable photos with the Easter Bunny, a G-rated “Peep Show,” and a Golden Egg hunt for adults. Click here for a schedule of events.

Sunday, April 20th

Celebrate Easter morning with a one-of-a-kind experience at an elevation of 8,516 feet above the desert floor at the top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway’s Mountain Station. The first cable car goes up at 4:30am and the Easter program begins at 5:10am, complete with gospel choir and sermon by Pastor Sneed of Rebirth Temple of Faith in Palm Springs. A special Ride ‘n’ Breakfast follows the Easter program at Pines Café until 7:30am. A special Easter dinner will also be service at Pines Café on Sunday from 11:00am to 8:30pm. Cost: Reduced Tram fares until 7:30 am $15 for adults + seniors, $12 for children 3-12. Tram fare + Ride ‘n’ Breakfast $23.95 for adults, $16.95 for children 3-12. Tram fare + Easter Dinner $36 for adults, $23.50 for children 3-12.
