Reach A New Fitness Mark At Palm Springs Wellness Park

Does your Fall and Winter travel plans 'bucket list' include a visit to an always amazing and beautiful,'must be there' destination resort? A place where you can escape colder temperatures and get that healthy glow back on your skin? Somewhere that has a vibrant night life, where you may dine al fresco almost every day of the year, do a little 'retail therapy' or slip into a spa for some much needed pampering? And for sure, a location and season that lend themselves beautifully with your desire to be outdoors, to keep fit and maintain your unique exercise paradigm, keeping you on track towards attaining those goals you have been working hard to reach back home? Well then, your search is over! Just book your visit to our Desert Paradise of Palm Springs! And while you are here, make sure to visit this always 'no fee', open 365 days a year, outdoor fitness oasis... aptly named The Palm Springs Wellness Park.

Palm Springs has it all when it comes to your physical fitness and the options available to you while visiting this incredible Desert village! From exciting and well equipped big name gyms like World Gym Palm Springs, and  Golds Gym...to unique and alternative venues like Desert Tiger Training. In PS you'll find just what you desire to stay on track with your goals. And the Palm Springs Wellness Park is one of the many excellent outdoor fitness choices available to everyone who visits.

My good buddy and Palm Springs Realtor, Vic Yepello, shares the following blog post with us about the park: 'The Wellness Park is a 5-acre wellness oasis inspired by the Desert Healthcare District (www.dhcd.org). It is located at the corner of Tachevah Road and Via Miraleste across the street from the Desert Regional Medical Center. www.desertmedctr.com. It offers a quarter-mile walking/jogging loop, five exercise/fitness stations, and four gardens - meditation, healing, fragrance and a memorial garden. The Desert Water Agency contributed a demonstration site for native, drought-tolerant landscaping and irrigation. In 2005 the Park was completed in collaboration with the City of Palm Springs, the Desert Water Agency and the Palm Springs Unified School district.'

As a personal fitness trainer and group exercise instructor, I often find myself at this seemingly always uncrowded fitness park. I love being there on the paths and anticipating the next

exercise station and the outdoor pump they inspire every time I visit. It is a great alternative to being indoors, and a perfect spot for your fitness routine during our warm, mild Fall and Spring seasons. An always pleasant and refreshing physical fitness option, I can also be found, from time to time, with one of my clients at the PS Wellness Park. All have loved it as much as I do...and they always ask.."Ted...when can we go there again to work out?". "Not soon enough! But first...let's

do another set of 15 reps." is the motivational reply I always give them! It seems to work just fine.

I hope you will pay a visit to this great little fitness oasis located in the heart of charming Palm Springs. While planning your next trip here to Paradise, please peruse and enjoy the photos of The Wellness Park. You will find more of them, along with the many Friends of The Palm Springs Wellness Park, on it's very own  FaceBook Page!

We look forward to seeing you here on your next visit to fabulously fit Palm Springs. Until  then...Stay Fit. Stay Healthy. Stay Happy. Keep Exercising! And I'll see YOU at the gym! My Very Best To You...Ted

Great tip. Not far from my new place. I'll surely check it out for some early morning cardio. Best - D
