Make a splash

As the desert days get warmer and summer days begin to seem endless, people in Palm Springs flock to one place- the pool. This is the place to be when the going gets tough and all you want to do is relax and have fun. Luckily for you party-goers, we have compiled our top five picks of happening poolside parties for you to enjoy. Although pools and sunshine in Palm Springs can be enjoyed year round, these poolside events are hoppin’ from late spring all throughout summer.

Splash House, a growing music and pool festival returns August 8-10, 2014 featuring three Palm Springs properties - The Saguaro, the new Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs and the new Hacienda Cantina & Beach Club. Together with Goldenvoice’s electronic division LED, the world’s top DJS will be perfectly paired at the venues allowing attendees to access all venues via shuttle service.

The Hacienda Cantina and Beach Club is a new concept to Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. The pool is open to the public with no swim club fee or additional admission charge to use the pool, except when ticketed events are taking place. Visitors can join in daytime activities of lounging in the pool, listening to top entertainment acts.
